I used Wattpad during a flash fiction course in college, posting short pieces and getting reader feedback in real time. Comments came in while I was still writing subsequent chapters, and that interaction made the work feel worth doing in a way a private draft never does. Wattpad's audience is engaged in a way most writing platforms are not, because readers are actively invested in stories they've been following chapter by chapter for months.
The publishing tools are straightforward. Write directly in the app, add chapter breaks, tag your story by genre and tropes, and publish.
