FreeUP Mobile Launches FreeUP 2.0

FreeUP Mobile recently launched FreeUP 2.0 with improvements on their previous services that aim to give consumers more opportunity to get their wireless free.

Included in the FreeUP 2.0 launch is a new "Make It Free Guarantee" offer which matches the first $10 of credits on an account.

How FreeUp Works

FreeUP, a MVNO on AT&T's network, works by offering low-cost plans that can be paid for completely through a rewards system. On their FreeUP Rewards app customers can perform a number of tasks that will earn them credits towards their wireless bill.

Tasks on the app include:

Shopping online
Eating out with exclusive offers on the app
Referring friends and family
Clipping coupons
Watching videos
Playing games
Taking surveys

After joining, customers will receive a free SIM card from FreeUP. Once, the SIM card is installed in a device, access to the rewards app can be gained.

Make It Free Guarantee

With the "Make It Free Guarantee" FreeUP will match the first $10 of rewards credit on an account when the account holder spends at least 15 minutes per day using the rewards app. Altogether, these credits will equal the monthly cost of FreeUP's basic unlimited plan (includes unlimited talk/text and 1GB of 4G LTE data), making it completely free.

FreeUP Mobile Plans

FreeUP Mobile offers 2 basic sets of plans that can each be customized.

The first is their starter plan which includes 500 minutes of talk, 500 texts, and 100MB of 4G LTE data. The Starter plan costs $10 per month (before rewards credits).

Additionally, FreeUP offers an unlimited plan which starts with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of 4G LTE data. This plan starts at $20 with the option to add more 4G LTE data at $10 per 2GB.
