Look beyond the four major carriers and you'll find some serious cell phone bargains. Want big data at low prices?
Mint SIM, a prepaid SIM carrier, will give new customers unlimited talk, text and 10GB of high speed data for $25 a month.
See? Compared to other carriers' 10GB plans, it's a pretty sweet deal.
How does this work?
In order to get this special pricing, you must pay for three months upfront of service on Mint SIM's "Large" 10GB plan which would be $75 (3x$25). Mint will then send you a SIM card in the mail and you can activate your service. (Not sure how SIM cards work? Don't worry, we've got some easy answers here.) You can either bring your phone or buy one from Mint's website. Hopping on a new cell phone plan really isn't that hard.
Who the heck is Mint SIM?
Mint is an MVNO that believes monthly data plans --like toilet paper and dog food -- can be cheaper when you buy in bulk.
Though the carrier’s website doesn’t name its infrastructure partner specifically, it's commonly accepted that Mint SIM uses T-Mobile’s towers so you can expect the same quality coverage that T-Mobile delivers. Double check carrier coverage here.

The finer print...
- This plan is compatible with most GSM phones (devices that run on T-Mobile or AT&T networks)
- Mint SIM will honor returns for SIM cards (un-opened and un-activated) within 10 days of order purchase for a refund.
