Tello is a prepaid carrier that runs off of Sprint's 4G LTE network. Tello offers "pay as you go" and "create your own" plans allowing customers to choose the exact amount of talk, text, and data they need each month. Tello also offers its own branded devices and an option to "bring your own phone".
Tello offers prepaid plans that don’t bind users in a contract or charge them early termination fees. Tello, as of April 2016 has numerous postpaid and prepaid service plans. With each plan there are no hidden fees and customers can leave the service whenever they’d like. Since Tello’s plans are build your own, Tello will charge members separately for talk, text and data.
To bring your own device to Tello, it must be unlocked and have previously ran off the Sprint network. Some iPhone and Google Nexus phone models are compatible with Tello regardless of which carrier they were purchased from. These are the only phones other than Sprint devices that can be activated with Tello. The following phones from the following carriers are accepted:

Tello has a couple of different add-on features that can be added to any plan. Included data allowance can be used for tethering (mobile hotspot) as long as the users’ device supports mobile hotspot configuration. Customers also have the option to purchase additional Pay as You Go credits for international calls and texts. This includes calls and texts to Mexico, Canada as well as Cuba.
